Hi. Problem is I wanted to change my home network of 2 comps on Win 98 to
use TCP/IP protocol instead of NetBeui. After playing around with the
protocols and then restoring to original settings my internet connection
will now not work at all. I can connect to my ISP thru dial up but my comp
will not receive data. It will not open any TCP sockets. Wheni try to open
TCP sockets manually with winsock I get the error message "Address Family
Not in Use"Can anyone tell me how to set up the TCP/IP protocol so I can
again access the internet? I have looked in Networking and added all the
right protocols, however my "I want to enable NetBios over TCP/IP" option is
ticked, does this have anything to do with it, since it was ticked before
and caused no problems!!
