Protocol && Connection for a dial conection

hello..

i want some advise on this

I am planning on having a web/mail server at clients premises which has a modem that will dial into the ISP every 1hr. The idea is that ..when the connection is made all the mail that is queued on that box will be sent to the ISP's MX and also that box will poll mail from the ISP's MX so that the clients can get mail directly off the box in there office rather than the ISP's MX. Can someone tell me how i can pull something like this off , i have a small layout of how everything should work , but i just need to know wether i am on the right track.

all help on this matter will be appreciated
