Protection Pilot - Not deploying 1

Hi all hope you can help.

I have installed the Protection Pilot on an XP machine SP2 to use as the server (version 1.1.0). I added computers to it fine (although it has picked up the netbios name of the computer it hasnt picked up any other details like ip address etc).

When I try to deploy virusscan 8 to the computers it just doesnt do it. the main screen says that some computers are pending but thats it. when i do check connection on the computers it says online.

any ideas?

my problem was the sp2 firewall, file sharing was disabled.
