I've got dvd content for my students I need to protect.

The files are large so they will not push through adodb.stream.

Is there a way of hiding content behind " level and forcing a "Save Target As"

Cheers

Protect it from who? Please clarify the need to "protect" the content.

I dont want the content to be visible to the web, for people to try and guess naming conventions and download the stuff without signing in.

Our document library is not visible to the web, instead a user logs in and using adodb.stream and server.mappath I can send the download to them.

Because video files are so big, the adodb.stream method crashes, and yet, if i place a hyperlink to the video file on the website it will download fine using "Save Target As".

I'm just looking for a solution that utilises "Save Target As", but doesnt show where the file is coming from like Server.MapPath.

Cheers
