hello,
I need to protect cells in range A3:B10 on my Excel worksheet. I don't care for a password. I want to leave all the rest of the cells modifiable.

any ideas?

Hi,

Select the cells that you do NOT want protected

Menu Item Format/Cells -Protect tab - uncheck Locked

Protect you sheet with or without password.

BTW, the [TAB] with cycle you between unlocked cells.
