Hello to all! Is there any way to create a password in order to prevent others from viewing code that was utilized in a query?

Thank You

FB

If you make your database an MDE file, no one can see any code within the database, including queried. Does that work for you?

Thanks Joe for the response! This file is to be accessed by others via viewing and updating the database. Would I hinder anyone from utilizing this database if I changed it to a MDE file?

Thanks Again

FB

The only hinderance is to you the developer because you have to keep a copy of the MDB on hand for developing/changing/creating objects and then create a new MDE when you are done. You will have to also have to extract any new data from the MDE and put it into the MDB before putting the new MDE into service.
