I need a way to keep the VB Code in my Excel spreadsheet from prying eyes. Is there a way to disable the Code Viewer under the Macro sub-menu?

Thanks! Take Care,
Mike

In the VB Editor, select the module, click the right mouse button and select Properties, Protection. Probably the best option is just to set a password, so you will still be able to view and make changes yourself.

Make sure the password is documented somewhere safe - the guy I replaced took off to England without telling anyone the passwords on several Excel VBA modules!

Wow, how simple that was :) Thanks a bunch!
I need to protect my code from a few curious people in our department who can't seem to leave their fingers out of other people's work.
Sorry to hear about the guy that got up and left... I know the frustration that can cause. :)

Take care,
Mike Take Care,
