Hallo - does anybody know how I can protect a file I've opened with an ifstream or ofstream from anybody else reading from it or writing to it?
I thought there was a protect mode you could specify when you called the constructor, but so far I have found nothing.
Any & all help, as ever, is very appreciated.
Cheers,

Check out FileOpen I think it has sharing modes.
