Proper way to upgrade to J2SE on Solaris?

Hi, Everyone.
I am java illiterate, but I was just informed I have to upgrade to Java 1.4 from java 1.2 which came with solaris 8. Does anyone know what I need to do for this to happen? They done have any pakages for me to install, so I'm a little confused as their directions are almost useless. ANy help would be much appreciated. I've downloaded the self extracting file and unpacked it...And I get a lib and bin directory. Great. Now what do I DO with them?? Many thanks..

Hello, JVZ, and everyone.
Thanks for the link, but I was trying to download the J2SE, and install that only. Like a moron, I didnt think to download the j2sdk and get the packages out of THERE...then install those. Thanks for the information, though! You guys are great!
