A friend of mine is taking care of an IPX. She's been getting regular error messages on her ISDN line with her local carrier (I think it's frame-alignment errors of some sort). Her system is up and running even with these errors, and phone calls are going just fine.
But in talking to her about this, the subject of clocking came to light. Her system is set up to me a master (the dip switch on the SW10 card says that). She has a few IPS2000 system CCIS-d to it, so she is providing a clock signal for these.
She doesn't have a clock source card (CLK14 if I remember well) and I also couldn't see that she would be getting any sort of clock source from her local carrier.
I never really had to deal with clocking, so I'm not sure if this setup is optimal. is it?
