thread1361-1573334 asking about this, has been closed. So here is the proper procedure.

First, you must have Administration Access to the BCM50.
Second, you must have already downloaded and installed the Element Manager software to a PC from the BCM50.

Once you are connected to the BCM via the Element Manager, click on the Administration tab on the upper left.
Next click on Utilities from the list under Administration. Now click on Reset.

You must be certain now to click on the topmost button here, marked "Reboot BCM50 System".

If you click on the middle button, you will drop all calls.
If you click on the bottom button, you will lose all Telephony Configuration Data.

Wait until both lights on the BCM50 turn Red and pull the power plug.
