Good Morning,

I purchased a Call Pilot 150 with UK/Eng and Aus/Eng installed, system worked, it was just wrong for my customer's needs. I tried to load NA/Eng and NA/Spa using the Language Utility on the disk but now none the system voice prompts do not play at all. I performed a backup and peeled off the software keys from the .sto file and then performed a reinstall but the system condition did not change.

Scratching my head...

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

Melissa

I am guessing to re-install the language files again.
Make sure Voice Mail is ON if somehow it turned off.

Did you test the Alternate Spanish language?
This might tell if system or file issue.

Changed to spanish, confirmed voicemail on, no change...

The odd thing is when I run the configuration utility it ALWAYS says "operation timed out", it never says "Installation Successful"...

Sounds like maybe a network/pc issue as a guess.

If loading from CD then try moving the files off the CD to your laptop.
Make sure you are direct connect from laptop to CP and with a good patch cord.
Dont have any firewalls etc obstructing.

Thanks Curly,

I'm thinking it's the crossover cable and or the firewall settings now.

Should it make any difference that I'm doing this using a Windows 8.1 laptop?

As it is I can't run NRU on this machine... [shadessad]

Exsmogger:

We have a new unit coming from the supplier, however, I do have the Rls 3.1 upgrade files on a CD.

I've never even tried loading them onto a card before.

I have lots of older PCMCIA cards I could format and load the upgrade files to...

I might go ahead and do that for future use.

Thank you for the suggestion![bigglasses]
