Prompts-Performance issues

Hi there,

I have several impromptu reports with Catalog prompts but lots of performance issues when tried to open Prompt page and the reports based on Prompts also slow regardless of in Network or on my PC.
I am currently using Cognos V7.0, Oracle8 and Windows2000.
Please help me out in improving the performance
