Testing out a TVP50 on a KX-td 1232
I have one analogue line calling in to the system
The TVP 50 on power up cofirms DPT integration
When the TVP 50 answers the call the greeting is good evening/morning /afternoon followed by "welcome to the VPS"followed by custom greeting 1
I have re-recorded 248/9/250 and 819 to say this is prompt 248 for example or this is prompt 819
When I call into the TVP50 the prompt is good evening followed by welcome despite my recording over these prompts
Could someone clarify the port settings for me?
Under custom service I have prompt mode set to user 2
Can't understand where the welcome to VPS message comes from afer re-recording it
Thanks in advance

On your tvp50 is there company greeting option
If there is in port settings put company greeting 1 then record welcome to your company this will replace welcome to vps. If this is. It there then make sure prompts in port settings are set to user and not system

Excellent Obtsystems that,s sorted thanks very much
Is it true to say that system prompts and user2 prompts are the same by default and that is why I got the welcome message even though I re-recorded 819
Thanks again

if user prompts are selected, they will play default message unless you record them. and willnot play them is system is selected

In port service on tvp/tvs you have to tell each port to use custom service settings and user 1 instead of system prompts
all three are the same the two user prompts are so you can set vps as bilingual ...
