Prompts on report page in report studio don't remember the current pag

When you have prompt objects on a report page, the cognos viewer returns to the first page/section of the report when the prompt is submitted.

Is there a hidden form object that can be placed into the prompt form on the report page to get cognos viewer to return to the correct page/section when the prompt is submitted?

Not AFAIK, when rendered in HTML each page is rendered successively and if the report contains multiple report pages and queries these are also generated/executed step by step. This is also the reason that in HTML it is not possible to shows the total number of pages the entire report will spawn..
