Prompt Truncated at Aprrox. 50 characters 1

Hello I'm having a problem with some prompt values and how they are displayed in the drop down list. The prompt values are derived from a Report style picklist. The actual value
itself is truncated when it's displayed in the prompt for larger values.

Example drop down:
Mortgage Company of USA
Mortgage Company of Spain
Mortgage Company of Austr

Austr being Australia. This is just an example..my
values are getting cut off for larger strings at approx. 50 characters or so.

Not only is it truncating but the last letter that is displayed is actually getting cut in half. I'm getting something like a ( with it should be an O. And a ` when I should get a Y. Really strange. Shouldn't the prompt pick up on the size of the item from the report that the Picklist is based on?

Since my reports are bound for Upfront this turned out not to be a problem. In Upfront the width of the selection list was just right. hmmm.
