Prompt problem

Any help would be appreciated!

I have created a filter that says "Data is >= FirstSelection and Data is <= LastSelection" and the 2 variables "FirstSelection" and "LastSelection" are created through Prompt Manager. They are both created the same and are both Report Picklists. In both cases, I am using a different field to use for comparison as I am for display purposes.

What happens is when the report is being run, and the prompt appears to the user - the first prompt is not a drop-down list - it is huge and has the appearance of a "multiple-selection" box, the second prompt is a standard drop-down list.

I have seen this bug before, but I have deleted the prompts, re-created them and it has gone away - but this time it hasn't.

Does anyone know a way round this?

Many Thanks

If you are trying to filter your data selection on Field1, that is,
that Field1 is a member of the selections from a prompt then:
(?prompt1? ---- is a list prompt of some kind that you select members from)
(Field1 ----- is the data field to filter on)

In the "FILTER" tab add the following: " (Field1 in (\?prompt1?\)) "

Regardless of how many ?prompt1? values are selected, Field1 must match at least one of those ?prompt1? values.
