Hello,

can i use the @prompt function in yje select clause?

Could someone give me an example??

Thank you in advance,
Sara

Yes you can use the prompt.
Suppose if you have Sales tables in your database for every country, such that the structure is same and the name of table is prefix with country code.

Then you can use prompt to select the country whose data you want to see. The Syntex is

Sales_@prompt('Select Country','N',,mono,free).QTY_SOLD.

Sales_@prompt('Select Country','N',,mono,free).QTY_SOLD

I know that it works but, is it supported by BusinessObjects? I mean, do you ensure that it would work on future versions of BO?
