Hi there,

I am wondering if there is a way to force people to click "yes I am sure I want to send this message" or something when sending to _Domain Users.

We have people accidentally sending emails around to the entire domain about their home problems, selling eggs, and crap like that.

Anyone know if there's a way to do it? I want everyone to be able to send still, I just want it to prompt. I dont want to take access away from people and only let officers send to everyone.

Thanks!

Not natively, that I am aware of.

Seems more of a training issue?

The way we have it set up is that an underscore automatically means "_DomainUsers"

So when someone writes an email to My_daughter@hotmail.com and then backspaces a bit and misses the underscore it automatically resolves to domain users and they send them out.

I agree, it's a training issue, was just praying there is a way to prompt since I'm deathly scared I'll send out an off-color joke to a friend and do it myself, then get fired.

If you created another group, say, _accounts, perhaps it wouldn't automatically resolve, and prompt for which one you want to address the mail to?

That's not a bad idea at all. Create _DONOTSENDHERE or something.

They'll still mess it up.
