I have a period table where I filter on a fiscal month and fiscal year. My picklist is a text file that contains two columns: fiscal month as numeric, and the corresponding month name.

1 December
2 January
3 February
4 March
5 April
6 May
7 June
8 July
9 August
10 September
11 October
12 November

In my report the prompt displays the fiscal month name (December, January, ....) but filtered using the fiscal month number.

Now, in my title heading I'd like to show the name of the month instead of the fiscal month number when I use the object Prompt value.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Monsky,

Ok, what you do is. Insert a calculation into your heading. If you have trouble with that then the easyest way would be to drag the icon of a calculation there. Then what you do is you set the datadefination equal to the fiscal month field in your text file. Isuggest that you draw the fiscal month field into your report and just hide it. How's that :)
