Promise Ultra66 Question

Hi,

I have an older PC that I installed an 80Gb hard drive and a promise ultra66 controller in. (No other hard drives present).

After I install NT Workstation and reboot, I get the error "Operating System not found".

It is a Western Digital hard drive, so I've removed the jumper from the hard drive.

Any thoughts?

Do you mean you installed NT on this 80GB drive attached to the Promise controller? Did you supply the install with drivers for the controller card? Did the install actually complete successfully?
