Hello,

I'm in the process of taking a Prologix R8 that currently has two carries A & B, and would like to only use the A and remove the B. What do I need to do in the system itself to tell it that carrier B is no longer connect, or does it figure it out when the carrier is disconnected physically?

Thank you,

Tom

You need to remove al of the translations and cards from the B carrier. Save translations, turn the system off. Remove the B carrier and bus cable. Move the bus terminator from the B carrier to the bus connector on the A carrier where you removed the bus cable. Turn the system back on. That's it. There are no other software changed required.
