Proliant servers heat

I'm planning to install a new cooling machine for my server room. I wonder if HP/Compaq has information on how much heat output each server/device has. Anyone has any ideas?

Believe this info is in the specification pdf file for each model which can be accessed via the HP web site

Your best bet is to calculate BTU's based on power consuption. Plenty of info on the web that tells you how to do this. This artical is a good starting point.

Quickspecs for servers include the Heat Output (usually in KW, just multiply by 3.412 to convert to Btu).
