ProLiant Firmware Maintenance CD

Does anyone have experience using the ProLiant Firmware Maintenance CD on older servers? I just ran it on a 1600 an 1850R. On the 1600 it went to the 'bash' prompt after saying it was loading drivers "do not reboot ...". On the 1850R it just came up with a blank screen after booting to the CD. I tried both the 7.2 and 7.3 versions on both.

Is there an older version of the software i should use on the older servers?

I have used sucsesfully on 1850Rs without issues, very slick.

If you are having problems you can download the individual firmwares from HP as needed also.
