I have a Proliant 800 running Windows NT 4.0 and I've purchased a new SCSI tape drive for it. I am having throughput problems with the tape drive. The tech support folks with OnStream gave the required settings for a SCSI adapter. I know how to do this with an Adaptec card, but can't find out where to change it on the Proliant. I've checked all of the BIOS settings (very limited on choices). I checked the Smart Start utilities, nope.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hy Vegamite,
also check jumpers on tape drive, try to find out does the scsi level(1,2,3 fast, wide)are matching backwards.use rack builder on smart start for drivers.you was not percise so it's all i can tell you.
