I've come into possession of a Proliant 7000 server and I would like to use it as a home computer. Is this possible without major reconfiguration? Can this machine run a non-server version of Windows? Thanks for your help.

I would think it would work OK, particulalry with Win2000Pro or XP Pro.

Might be a bit *noisy* for your neightbors though

I did this once with a 6500 - You won't need a heater for the rest of the winter...

I have one too...good for burning cds and lots of gamesand videoclipson load ...plan to use it as my online server, just note nough fund for registration...
