I have a Proliant 3000R, PII-333 with 900 odd MB of Ram, a 2DH Controller and 7 drives in 2 Raid 5 Partitions. After a fan failure recently which has been replaced, the machine boots through post, but then stops on a black screen with a lot of disk activity. I assume it is rebuilding the arrays, but after 3 hours of waiting it still hasn't started up windows. Is there any way of getting it to boot before it rebuilds the arrays, or am I missing something?

you can to the ctrl i or a or what ever it is tpo get into the raid controller set up check the status to see whats going on with the status of the drives and you can try to set them online or you can boot the smart stqart cd and check the config there.......but i dont think you will be able to boot to windows but i could be wrong....
