I am looking to get some more memory for my server, but I am not sure if it will take it and I cannot find a compability chart on HP's site anywhere.

The Part number for the memory is 228471-001 and I have a Compaq Proliant 3000 Dual P2 450's.

Help....please

First you need to establish the speed of the memory that is in the server at the moment. I reckon it could be 100Mhz (according to the Illustrated Parts Catalogue for the PL3000 - - page 1-4).

For info, the part number supplied is the Compaq/HP part number, resellers may give a different number hence your number above.
