Howdy all. I finally got my Proliant 3000 built and went to SmartStart and a I received an error that the second CPU had failed. I swapped with another P2 300 CPU/VRM riser card (these are all same CPU type and stepping) and received the same error.
I then ran the system erase utility and received the same error. I swapped the processors and I receive the same thing.
I erased the system twice and attempted to configure with SmartStart and told the System Configuration Utility to mark the failed processor as repaired and no good.

Any thoughts or ideas? I greatly appreciate the help.

Thank you.
