Hello all
I hope I am posting in the right forum.
I have a nec vt770 projector and a Toshiba laptop that I have connected together, All works well with it. The cable connecting the 2 is about 75 feet long.
I have added a lcd screen that is connected to the projectors output port. This will be used so that the speaker can see what is being projected on the screen behind him/her. The cable connecting the LCD monitor to the projector is about 75 feet long.
My problem is that the monitor acts as if the signal is being dropped. Some times it will work correctly displaying what is on the screen and at other times it goes blank as if it is not receiving a signal.
I have the laptop refresh rate set to 60htz and the screen resolution set to match the new LCD monitor.
I have connected teh lcd screen to my home pc and it functions correctly, in that it never drops the signal so I do not believe I have a faulty monitor.
Any thoughts as to what is happening?
