Project+ Worth? 1

I've just started studying for this cert. I want to get this one, and would love to get the PMP one as well.

I was wondering if anyone thought that it was still relevant. I searched a couple of threads, but they all seem to be several years old.

I came across an article where someone asked about salary expectations, and the author mentioned that he couldn't find any information. To him, this spoke about the worth of the cert, since he was able to find plenty of information about the PMP cert.

I'm still looking forward to obtaining the Project+ cert - hey, you have to start somewhere.

BTW - I've been in IT for almost ten years. Mostly desktop database stuff as of late, some programming in VB, etc.

I would like to find the time to do this one but never get round to it.

It is certainly not a qualification I would expect to see in a job specification, it just isn't as widely known as A+ and MCSE. Having said that it's a good one to have in my opinion to prove you can run projects rather than just do the technical stuff.

Just keeping up with Microsoft takes all my time at the moment and I can't see that changing for quite a while so I probably will never get round to doing it.
