Hi - I'm fairly new to MSP (used it years ago), so please be patient!
A bit of background:
We are looking at adopting MS Project to manage planning in our group of 10 engineers. We have numerous projects on the go at any time (say 50), some lasting years and others weeks.
Our plan is to set up a 'master' project including all our projects, and lots of linked slave projects each made up of numerous tasks.
We need to do some specific forecasting, and I can't figure out how to get the data out of Project, although I'm sure there must be a way! I did have a go with the demo version of MSP 2007, but couldn't figure it out.
What we need to do is:
- For the 12 months ahead, predict what % of each slave project will be complete by each month.
Hope you can help.
Thanks
