Hi all,

is there a way to have my project images in a separate folder under my project (ie myproject/images)?

Right now whenever I add a project image (using the wizard), it places the image in my root project folder with all my report files (RDLs). Now when I deploy the report, my image files are visible by default in the report manager listing. I'm currently making each individual image hidden in the report manager.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Yazster

Hi,

I don't think there's any other way of deploying your images. Whilst its probably the same amount of effort, have you thought of creating an 'Images' folder within Report Manager, making it hidden from users, deploying your projects including the images and then moving the images to the folderusing RM? That way RS should maintain the link to the image for your reports, but keep them all in a single place hidden from users.

Just a thought.

Cheers,
Leigh

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try.
I just thought there was something obvious I wasn't seeing.

Thanks!
