Hi all ,
I have been trying to show my project view to start at the begin date instead of showing the non active time period of two months prior, don't understand why and cannot seem to modify this view in the Gantt chart view.
When I change to calendar view it starts at project beginning of Jan05.
Any suggestions?
I am using project 2000 9.0.

TIA

Your problem description isn't very clear.

If you RightMouseButton on the headers above the Gantt chart then you can select Zoom and "Show entire project".

If you use the scrollbar at the bottom of the Gantt you can show any time frame you want.

If you click File -> Print then you can select (in the lower portion of the dialog box) any date range you want to print.

Thanks for your response, I know I may not have explained it fully, it is sort of a strange problem.
Your suggestions do not solve my problem, what it is, is that even though my project starts 2nd week of Jan, why does it keep showing Nov and Dec even thought there was not and never will activity during that time frame.
Is that normal?
True the bottom scroll bar allows you to scroll to the beginning of project but it seems strange that I cannot save the snapshot or project that way.

Check your start date in Project Infomation under Project drop down menu.

Done that too, start date is Jan 13th but viw still insists on starting project some time in November unless I scroll forward to Jan.
When I during print preview change the date to Jan. it will print correctly, it's just the on screen view that got me bugged.....

This has happened to me in the past and I forget what it was...driving me nuts.
