I have installed and Im using PS2007. One of my associates wants to use the data analysis feature. However, I cannot get the server to build a cube. I followed all of the instructions found here-->
I keep getting an error that says the server could not connect to the analysis server when I attempt to build the cube.

PS2007 and SQL2005 are on the same server.

This is the error I get. Please point me in the right direction if you can. I really dont even know where to begin as I am a complete newb when it comes to SQL.

The errors returned from the queue are as follows:
Error ID: 17003
Error ID: 26000

Detailed error below - send it to the administrator for more detailed troubleshooting.

You _might_ find that this has something to do with an SSPAdmin account not being in the OLAPAdmin group (or one of the other Admin groups).

But don't quote me ... I'm a Project guy, not a PrjServer guy.

Pardon me, but I dont know what SSPAdmin is. As I have read around it has something obviously to do with project. However, I cannot find this particular user on my project server. Was it supposed to be a default creation?

Admin account for the Shared Services Provider. And you have now *totally* exhausted all my knowledge about PrjServer <grin>.

Thanks for your replies but I have seen nothing of the sort as of yet... Can anyone else help a little more in depth.
