Project 2003 Workgroup mail - Sending MTM files

Hi there,
Project 2003 does not support Workgroup mail. Microsoft has an unsupported work-around that we've implemented, but it sends mtm files. Mtm seems to be winamp files.

Has anyone seen this before or have a fix for it?
