I am using MS Project 2000 to set up a new project. At previous clients I have used the Workgroups feature to assign tasks & collect status through email via Outlook.

Question:
Are there advantages to using Project Central for this purpose? If so, what are they?

Thank you in advance for your insight!
Janice

Hello jancebk,

Project Central would allow your Resources and Stakeholders view Project information (Views, Charts and Tables) via the Web. Whereas Workgroup messaging only sends Task Assignments.

Follow this link to the MS Project 2000 Support Centre and take a look at the Project Central information.

Good luck,
Michael
