Hi - we have a client with clustered servers and they are wanting to install Macola SQL (7.6.200). SQL 2000 works in a clustered environment, however Macola does not - can it be installed anway, knowing of course that it would defeat the purpose of having clustered servers. Will it even install? Will it work OK ongoing?

I currently have Macola 7.6.100a running in a clustered server environment. It's been running for a little over a year now. Thinking back, we didn't actually install it on that server. We also have a test server where we did the initial install and we then moved the databases along with the macsql folder structure over to the clustered server.

In March, we are going to upgrade it to 7.6.200.

Thanks Kevin - that's good to know. Macola doesn't want to even install in a clustered setup - it fails to recognize the SA password at the point the install requests it. Rather than install on another machine, and move it to the clustered environment, the client is going to try creating a non-clustered instance of SQL and install Macola alongside it. I'll let you know what happens.
