We are using progression with eSynergy and I have been having a weird issue since we went live with eSynergy. The Finance Charge flag in Macola is being turned off on alot of customers (~200 a month). We don't have any customers that should have the finance flag turned off(we default it to yes). I haven't determined a pattern - the new ones from eSynergy are coming over ok. Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you using esynergy in an integrated (sharing the same database) or consolidated (esynergy is in a different database) environment.

If it's consolidated, it could have to do with the asimport function that's used to move data between the 2 databases.

I would track it in event manager with an email to help find a pattern. You would talk to the last person to make a change on a customer's account about what they were doing when Event Manager saw the field change.

I have looked at the audit trails for these customers - some of them are very inactive - no business for years. None of the audit trails record the finance charge flag changing from yes to no. Some of the audit trails don't show any activity for years.

Since we are on progression, I believe the only way we can have it is 2 separate databases.

I will set up the event and see what I get - thanks.

Sorry about that. You're absolutely right. I was working in ES at the time which is why I made the comment I did.

Do you have a customized customer screenset. You delete it and recustomize it from the MACOLA screenset. It's possible that it may not be working correctly.

You could be on to something with the customized screenset. I had deleted that screenset by accident and when I added it back in was when I became aware of the finance charge issue - first thought it was just from customers entered under the macola screenset. I will try it and let you know.
