Hi guys!!!

I am brand new using Progress and I really wish to get started with it correctly.

Any recommendation for a begginer like me?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Sincerely,

Daniel Buentello

Well, a course would be a good option if you can persuade your boss to part with the cash. If that's not possible, work your way through the Language Tutorial. It's one of the books that comes with the Progress toolset. And use the Language Reference manuals and online Help for supplementary information.

Thanks a lot HelloMike!!!

I'll do it, I can't persuade my boss, so here comes the manuals :)

Greetings.

Rich is right. Most of the book is done, and it's an excellent piece of work.

Mike.

An excellent resource is the book "Making Good Progress, The Application Development Process" by John Campbell. You buy it through White Star Software. It's expensive, but I've found it invaluable in explaining things. Especially since I couldn't get sent to any courses when I needed them.
