Hi,

I am looking at backing up a cients Progress database to Netbackup 4.5 and would like to know how I can achieve this. I believe it requires being backed up to a flat file but what command in Progress will allow me to create a dup of the database.

Regards,
Pat

For backup use probkup command:

If yor database is online go to your database folder and type

probkup online x x.bk

in command line.

If you shut down your database, then type just

probkup x x.bk

This will make backup file x.bk of your database x (in same folder).

You can make script too.
