Hi it is BCM400 release 4.0. I am having problem of DN going to default numbering plan after getting power on. (We normally shutdown BCM every weekend) or if by somehow BCM gets abrupt shutdown then DN goes to default DN numbers. Please note that this particular BCM has been re imaged due to HDD crashed. Can somebody help??
Thanks

It sounds to me that the database is corrupted or that you might have a bad motherboard causing the problem. You mentioned that you have a BCM 400 system at 4.0. Have you inspected the inside of the BCM system as they can collect dust over a period of time. Whilst doing this check out the capactors as you might have some that have leaked or split etc.

Faulty capactors will mean that the BCM won't hold it's charge and can effect BCM programming. The early BCM 400 systems were prone to capactor problems and I seem to recall that the later motherboard versions were changed to Blue from the original Green ones.

All the best
