We recently signed up a new customer with a Nortel Option 11C. They already have a Teltronics SEB II (Site Event Buffer II). We need to change the phone number where the SEB dials out to and also add/edit/delete a couple or so filtering alarms on the SEB. We understand that we can do this thru Irisngen, but a $35k investment doesn't make much sense for what we're trying to accomplish. There's a program called "SEB Manager" which is an old DOS-based application which we believe can do what we're trying to do. Unfortunately, we can't seem to find this software application. Is there any other way of reprogramming the SEB? Or where can we get and/or purchase this "SEB Manager" application? We tried contacting Teltronics, but they said they no longer sell it. Instead they want us to buy their $35k Irisngen.

We are in the same boat, except we are the end user and want to be able to monitor our own switches. Good luck and I for one will be keeping an eye on the responses

If you want to monitor your own switches, I'm assuming that you have network connectivity all over your sites...you can probably get by by replacing the SEB with a terminal server. If security is a concern, go with one that has SSH built-in.

Hmmm...what happened to Nortellian's response? It got deleted in this thread?

That's the SEB II only...not the SEB Manager software to program the SEB II.
