Programming speed call on M3903???

why is it that I have created a speed call controller
for list 17 on an M3903 set.

key 04 scc 0017

how do you actually program the numbers on the phone (M3903)

press SpCallCtrl
then press 00 (first entry) and a dash should appear (it does not appear anymore?)

can someone please help w/this

the key should say SpCallCtlr, press that key enter a one or two digit code (1 thru 9 for a 10 entry 01 thru 99 for a 100 entry) then enter the 9+the number, to use it touch a line key, touch the spcall button press the one or two digit code.
