Hi,
Have SL1100 & two MLT 24 key.
One came "as is" & uses the 2 ISDN lines as normal. incoming & outgoing

I would like to pick up handset & press e.g. 3rd soft key & get the SIP line
The first 2 I guess are OEM line trunk 1 & 2
I should say currently because there is a fault on my ISDN lines and need to be able to choose SIP

Not programmed or set up for a few years so really can't remember much.

How do I set up that MLT to use SIP on pressing a soft key?

My 2nd MLT I have set up to ring in on my main isdn's line but outgoing is the SIP (single number)
I really cannot remember how I did that but it all works.
this one does not have access to the idsn lines so perhaps I could do that but not so important.

thanks I/A.

Are you talking about a line key or the softkeys? Softkeys cannot be individually programmed. Line keys can.

The line keys, the top 2 lines of my 24 button mlt.
The top 2, from the left, light up red when one or two lines are used.
This one I would like to be able to pick up & press a spare button & get the SIP line.

My 2nd MLT (SIP) I don't remember programming (but must have) lights up 2nd line, first button, green, when I pick up & 9 to outside.
This one also flashes the top 2 buttons if someone else is using the isdn trunk lines but I can't access those line but as I say not too worried about that, it just uses the SIP

I was just reading that somehow can set up a 2nd, outside line, number. e.g. 8 (instead of usual 9) & that will grab a specified truck. not got good instruction on that but that might be a easier & more universal solution.
Not too sure who to do that at the moment or which is easiest I think as short of time.

Ok so you can program a different outgoing group with it's own access code but it is easier to just assign line keys on the phones. How are you programming? from the phone, web Pro or PC Pro? You need memory block 15-07 and each line has it's own trunk number which you can assign to the keys.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply,
PC Pro,

Prefer to use PC Pro as much as possible but I guess need to use the MLT to program some features?

How do I assign a trunk number to the keys.

Is there is a manual or instructions? I could not find anything that had that sort of detail for programming the phones,
I have everything for the SL1100 itself.

OK, thanks

Had a quick look at the manual,

I will work it out but does not seem immediately obvious how to program the trunk to a key.

Thanks again.

In 15-07 select the extension to program then the key to program, a dropdown box will appear, scroll down in that box till you find *01-trunk key and click on that. to the right of this you will see a box with your trunks listed, select the one you want it to be then click ok repeat as necessary then click apply and then upload.
