Hi everybody:
I picked up an extra VVX 410 from Polycom and worked on setting it up tonight. I've got an extension programmed and some busy line fields - those all work great.
Is there a way I can display my SIP trunks as well like I do on the Nortel sets, or can I only do this on Nortel sets? I can't program the buttons on the Polycom like I can on the Nortel through UCx, so I'm assuming it's a different process to actually get the SIP trunks to show. Could I use the registration string at the bottom of the SIP trunk page on the UCx?
I have four channels of our SIP trunk showing on each Nortel phone. I'd like to do that on the Polycom as well so calls can be put on hold and grabbed at other extensions. Or can I only do this with Nortel sets? This is my first regular SIP phone I'm trying with the UCx - not sure I can display SIP trunks and use them like I do on the UCx.
Thanks for any wisdom you could give me!
-Michael
