Hello experts,

I am upgrading an ACS R3.0 to an ACS R6.0. Client wants the Remote Call Forwarding Feature, hence the upgrade. Customer wants transferred calls to go directly to his cell phone. I am "stumped" on one step in the process - assigning Line Coverage Extension #208. I understand I need to enable RCF #322 for his extension, then program #208 Line Coverage Extension, program a personal speed dial #, then assign a button for RCF = F11+Ext#*PSD#.

If I assign Line Coverage to include all lines on the ACS, will this mess up the Auto Attendant in any way? Or, is Line Coverage just stating that this extension can use these lines on the system.

Hopefully I've made myself clear.

Thanks,
Andrea

Only assign line coverage if the extension has its own "private" lines that your want to always be forwarded. If you want the lines to be answered by the auto attendant, the caller transfers to the extension, and the extension remote forwards to the outside number, just assign the lines to the auto attendant through #206-7-NN-1 as usual. Allow the extension remote forwarding in #322, put the outside number in one of the personal speed dial locations on the extension, and forward the extension to the speed dial location.

Thank you TTT!
Understand clearly now!

Regards,
Andrea
