Programming Question (AA, hnt groups, call route) 2

Hi everyone,

I am new to the merlin magix system and need to do some programming on it that may be trivial, but I couldn't get it working easily. I have three questions:

How do you route all incoming calls to an auto attendant?
How can I configure this auto attendant with a voice prompt (i.e., welcome to xyz, press 1 for ... etc.)
How can I create hunt groups (Group calling?)

The processor is running on 4.0 (recently upgraded from 2.2) and the messaging is running on 3.0.33 (upgrade to 4.0 failed multiple times ... but that's a different story).

WinSPM isn't connecting via direct connect, remote, or manual ... but I do have an extension with the menu panel (allowing system programming and maintenance and what have you).

Assign Lines to the calling group - Extensions > More > Group Calling > Lines and trunks and assign the lines there.

How can I configure this auto attendant with a voice prompt (i.e., welcome to xyz, press 1 for ... etc.)

IN the Voice mail, log in as ADMIN - then go to 3 and program the Auto Attendant Menu - Skip through the SELECTOR CODE choices and Dial ZERO time out and you will be given a chance to record the MAIN GREETING.

How can I create hunt groups (Group calling?)

Extensions > More > Group Calling Members - Assign extensions.

Now, you will want to decide if you want them to be AUTO LOG IN, or AUTO LOG OUT. (IF you have REAL PEOPLE manning this group).

You can also have an ALL RING GROUP, chosen in the HUNT TYPE.
