I am new to configuring the Norstar ICS and the customer does not have the manual, so i could use some help. I have 5 co lines on the system now, the customer just added 7 more lines bringing the total to 12. They want the new lines to be used for outbound only. I'm thinking of creating a line pool for lines 6 thru 12 and when they pick up the handset one of those lines (6 thru 12) will automatically be selelected. Any help on how to acccomplish this would be appreciated.

Also, the system has a floppy drive to do a backup, what is the procedure to backup the system.

Where can I get a manueal?

Once again thanks in advance for your help.

to put the lines in a line pool
F**266344 password by default is 266344 then select lines 6-12 and make them pool A
Lines>show>line>6>show>pool>change>a
then give the line pool the access code of 9
then give the sets access to the line pool .
then they should just have to dial 9+#to access the lines you have in pool A If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.

but I do know you can go to
and download just about any manualyou what .
There is a pretty leanthy process to get your user ID but I found it to be a pretty good site.
It is comparable to this site If you find a tip helpful Please take a moment to mark it as such.
