Can anyone tell me exactally where in the programming steps where you assign a prime line and make the other lines secondary lines that will direct another incoming call to it? I would of thought you could Copy the existing secondary lines into the new additional incoming lines and it would do the same thing. They are all on Pool A except the last new line which is on Pool B.

I think that you will have to contact your local telco and ask for your new line to be added to your existing hunt group. the user has no real control over incoming calls going to (hunting to) the next line in the group.

You will probably have to add the line either appear and ring , ring only or appear only to each phone that needs to be able to receive calls/rings and use the line or assign the line to tha same pool for outgoing access.

Line appearances are terminals & Sets-->line access-->line assignments-->(Line no)-->then select the desired appearance.

Pool apapearances are Lines-->show line-->Trunk/Line data-->line type-->then select the desired type.

All of the lines are set up as a loop as line type. Does that sound right? But I cannot find the line assignment under Terminal and sets. I am using the 266344 password. Is that why?

If you go in as:
FEATURE ** 266344
then 266344
You should see TERMINALS & SETS
Hit SHOW
then key in the set number you want to change
Hit SHOW
You should see LINE ACCESS
Hit SHOW
You should see LINE ASSIGNMENT

Unless you are running some very old software where the prompts are in a different order.

I also was going to ask you for your system type and software version the level may change the prompts you see.

It's a Norstar Plus Modular ICS. The numbers on the software card is NNTM845597LB. NT7B64GA. MICS-DR4.1S/W. WI 6.04. Rel 02. If this means anything to you. Also I noticed that when someone is on line 1 it shows that they are also on the other new lines that were installed. I know they weren't programmed correctly, but i'm not 100% sure of what i'm looking for.
